Joel Emilio Rodriguez-Bonilla age 30 of Gautier, MS passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home. Born Feb. 11, 1990 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he had been a resident of Gautier, MS since 2015. Joel was a mechanic and worked for RNR Tire Express at the time of his death. He loved his family and spending time with his three young children.

Left to cherish Joel memory are his longtime companion Sulymary Rolon-Rivera; their three sons Jahel Rodriguez, Aleczer Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez all of Gautier, MS; his mother Rosa Bonilla Martinez of Puerto Rico; his father Jamie Rodriguez of New Jersey; two brothers Jamie Rodriguez-Bonilla of Florida, Josue Rodriguez-Bonilla of Ohio; two sisters Vanessa Rodiguez and Rosani Melendez both of Puerto Rico.

Due to the current pandemic, a private service will be held for the family before Joel is returned to his native Puerto Rico. Those who desire may watch the service live on the funeral homes Facebook page at 4:00PM central standard time on Friday June 12, 2020. Services are under the direction of O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home.
