John E DeAngelo

John Edward DeAngelo, age 67 of Pascagoula, passed away on April 9, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl R. DeAngelo, Sr & Annie Faye Gunter DeAngelo, and his great-niece Emmalynn Nicole DeAngelo.

John (John D) as he was fondly called, is survived by his daughter Bonnie Paige DeAngelo of Merritt Island, FL, brother Carl R. DeAngelo, Jr (wife Lorri) of Waller, TX; granddaughter Aryana Best; two nieces Courtney DeAngelo Green (Brian) of Pascagoula, and Bethany DeAngelo Dittman (Doug) of Dallas, TX; nephew Connor DeAngelo (Mary Beth) of Katy, TX;
great niece Matti Jane Green, great nephews Joseph Elliott DeAngelo & Owen Patterson DeAngelo; his special friend Rita Chute, and many other family and friends.

John was born May 9, 1956 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. His dad was his hero, mentor, and his favorite fishing buddy. His brother Carl Jr (Dunar) was named by John not being able to pronounce Junior. John admired his brother. John proudly served in the United States Air Force. John’s daughter, Bonnie Paige, was his pride and joy. He was always a loving protector over her and her biggest fan. John would call Paige to give frequent updates on his childhood friends and families, Bill Wilburn, Jerry Henley, Scoot Linton, Mike Joyce, Randy Dyer and so many others.

John was a lover of music, he was a nautical dreamer and lover of the sea. He will be missed. Sail away John D.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00AM at O’Bryant- O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00AM.
