Jordan Matt King, age 29, of Pascagoula passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born March 1, 1996 in Pascagoula.
He was a graduate of Pascagoula High School in 2014, received his Bachelor’s Degree from University of South Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS and Master’s Degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA.
Jordan was a Project Manager for Ingalls Shipbuilding in the Human Relations Department in Pascagoula. He enjoyed coaching baseball and softball with his brother, AJ King and sister-in-law, Katelyn King and was a dedicated coach for the Pascagoula Fire Department team for 3 years. He enjoyed spending time with his son, wife, and family and especially crawfish and shrimp boils. A fond memory that his wife and son will have to cherish is a recent trip to Disney World as a family.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Claude King; grandpas, Claude King (Louise) and George Alexander; grandma, Bobbie Epps (Bill); nephew, Hendrick Harris; and Cousin, Seth Alexander.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kayla Skelton King; son, Stiles King; mother, Wanda King; brother, AJ King (Katelyn); sister, Alana Jordan (Chris); sisters-in-law, Kathryn Skelton (Dan Harris), Kayleigh Gonzalez (Max), Kristen Bleau, Kimberley Bleau; mother-in-law, Jackie Bleau (James); grandmother -in-law, Sybol Skelton; nieces and nephews that he adored, Aubrey King, Trace King, Chad King, Avery King, Mary Kathryn Harris, Robert Harris, James Harris, Kayden Tineo, Kylie Tineo, Wrenley Garza, Bentley Jordan, and Bailey Jordan; The Lopez Family, other relatives, co-workers, and great friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025, 10:00 until 11:45 noon at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
Active Pallbearers will be Fisher Bouler, AJ King, Max Gonzalez, Samuel Alexander, Christopher Jordan, and Bentley Jordan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Bouler and James Bleau.
In lieu of flowers, the family has arranged a benefit account for his son, Stiles King, at any bank branch of Singing River Federal Credit Union.
