Joseph "Len" Click passed away Thursday April 4, 2024 in Pascagoula, MS due to a short, but courageous battle to cancer, while surrounded by the ones he loved .
Len was born in Picayune, MS on October 21, 1960. He from a young age became one with life on the water. He served in the U.S. Navy and also worked most of his life as a shrimper and a well respected tug boat captain. He loved many outdoor sports that he could use to make lasting, priceless memories with his family and friends. Len will be missed greatly by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lonnie Click, brothers Danny Hill, Asa Hill, Andy Schoonmaker, lifelong friends Alan Alexander and Patty Sonier; birth parents, Joe and Geraldine Hill.
He is survived by his best friend, loving wife of 42 years Ellen Click , and son Joseph Daniel " J.D." Click, both of Pascagoula MS, brother Johnny ( Claudia) Linton of Big Point, MS; sister in law, Cathy Curet and Peggy Lepley; one grandson, Gavin Joseph Click and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 9, 2024 at O'Bryant - O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula MS, from 11:00am- 12:30pm with funeral service to follow in the chapel. Interment with military honors will conclude at Biloxi National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Click, Gavin Click, Jeremiah Hill, Charles Smith, John Lewis and Zeke Clancy.
