Joyce Madine Beverage, age 82, of Gautier passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. She was born July 4, 1942 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Thomas Walbert Hickman and Anna Lorene Madden Hickman.
Madine has been a resident of Gautier since 1975 and she devoted her life to her family as homemaker and caregiver to others. She enjoyed smart shopping, Chinese restaurants, cooking, celebrating Christmas, birthdays, and being with her family. Her favorite pastime was watching Fox news and the evangelist Jimmy Swaggart on television and listening to his music.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Calvin Leon Beverage and brother, Walbert Hickman.
She leaves behind precious memories with her two daughters, Cody Husley (Greg), Gautier and Monica Beverage of Gautier; sister, Ann Hickman, Winnsboro, LA; brother, William Roy Hickman, Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Perry Calvin Brown, Thomas Brown (Brittany), Jennifer Dixon (Buddy), and Kimberly Womble; seven great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family are invited to visit on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, 2:30-3:30pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 3:30pm in the Chapel with Rev M J Kirby officiating . Following the Funeral Service, a private graveside service will be held at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
