Judi Catherine Lipscomb of Vancleave, MS, at the age of 72, passed away May 10, 2026, after a well fought battle with cancer. She was a true warrior.
Judi was born to Frank and Mary Schuffert in San Francisco, CA on January 30, 1954. Judi graduated Gulfport East Highschool then Philips Business College with her business degree. She went on to retire in 2011 from Chevron Refinery working as head administrative assistant. Judi was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed working in the yard, putting together puzzles, shopping, being on the boat, traveling, going to the town house in Perdido Key and listening to music. Her favorite thing to do, however, was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and husband, David.
Judi is preceded in death by her parents Frank Walton Schuffert Jr. and Mary Alice Schuffert; and her daughter Stacie Harlan Doyal.
Judi is survived by her husband of 43 years, David Allen Lipscomb; daughter Alicia Steward (Blake); son Todd Harlan (Shana); sister Sandra Mohler (David); grandchildren Zachary Harlan(Ally), Caleb Harlan, Mady Strickland(Josh), Ty Doyal, Christian Steward, Olivia Steward, and Jacob Steward; niece Rebekah Rainey(Darrell); and many friends.
Visitation will be held Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, AL in the chapel Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in her memory to Memphis Hope Lodge.
