Julie Lee Krebs

Julie Lee Krebs, 54, of Pascagoula passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023.

She was born January 10, 1969 in Pascagoula, MS to Robert “Bobby” Earl Hamilton and Miriam Joyce Hamilton Garrett. Mrs. Krebs spent the first part of her adult life Bartending at Hula’s Bar before going on to do what she loved most, working with animals at Pet Harbor Veterinary Clinic. 

Mrs. Krebs is preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Krebs is survived by her husband, Bobby T. Krebs Jr. of Pascagoula, MS; Three children, Nikki Moore of Issaquah, WA; Anna Hamilton of Gautier, MS; Laurel (Caleb) Snyder of Pascagoula, MS; One grandchild, Maya Hamilton, brother Gordon (Cindy) Hamilton and sister Laurie (Michael) Porciello; along with a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bond and the Hospice of Light team in Pascagoula, MS for the great care and comfort they were able to provide her in her last moments. 

Julie Lee Krebs was a strong, loving, and caring mother and wife. Even after being diagnosed with Cerebellum Degeneration, she refused to let that stop her from being who she was: a carefree, fun, strong, and friendly woman. Even up to this point, she never let what she went through change her. Laughing, joking, giving, and forgiving, we will always remember Julie Lee Krebs the way she wanted us to remember her: A woman who would always be there for her children in any way she could. Someone who treated everyone equally. A force to be reckoned with.  

Visitation for Julie will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4-6 pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com.
