Katherine Joy Garlotte

Katherine Joy Garlotte passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the age of 71.

Katherine was born in Knob Noster, Germany on January 28, 1954 to Benjamin Franklin and Doris Williams. She worked in several capacity of wildlife refuge and conservation, that she was passionate about.  She loved the simple things of life,  gardening, yard work, as well as thrifting and bargain hunting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie and Pat. She is survived by two sons, Keith Hamsley and his wife Stacie and Joseph Garlotte; a sister, Terry Lyle; grandchildren, Emma Reese Hamsley, Ella Kate Hamsley and Cannon Myles Hamsley.

There will be no public services for Katherine but she will always be in our thoughts as we enjoy nature and all the things she loved in the great outdoors of southern living.
