Kathleen Elaine Kain Beech

Kathleen Elaine Kain Beech, age 75, of Pascagoula passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at her home.  She was born April 11, 1949 to Edwin Smith Kain, Sr and Marguerite Andersen Kain in Charleston, South Carolina.  She has been a long-time resident of Pascagoula.   

She met her husband, Bobby Beech, at the Pascagoula Beach and married him on June 19, 1971.  She retired in 2006 from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Senior Production Planner after 32 years of employment.  She was member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moss Point.

Kathleen enjoyed cooking especially gumbo, reading, and nail spa visits with her daughter. Her favorite pastime was sitting on her front porch watching her grandchildren drive by to and from school, watching birds, and spending quality time visiting with family and friends.  She will be remembered for devoting her life to her family and unconditional love she gave to them.

Kathleen is preceded in death by parents; son, Shawn Ray Beech, Sr..; brother, Edwin Smith Kain, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bobby R. Beech, Pascagoula; daughter, Pamela Beech Burnett (Paul), Pascagoula; son, Chris Beech (Kerrie), Ocean Springs; two sisters, Dorothy Hilzendager, Moncks Corner, SC and Cheryl Barber, Summerville, SC; sister -in-law, Betty Kain, Ladson, SC; grandchildren, Madison Elaine Burnett, Landon Paul Burnett, Aaron Christopher Beech (Megan), Austin Tyler Beech, Shawn Ray Beech, Jr; Jameson Rockinger, Timothy Kyle Beech, Tabitha Paige Beech; Jessica Joseph (David); Dixie Blosser (Andrew), Seth Mears (fiancé, Maddie) ,  Devin Mason (Skylar) and Faith Helton; Great grandchildren, Emilee Paige Beech, Grayson Beech, Brooklyn Beech, Petra Beech, Luzmarie Beech, Arcelia Beech, Maverick Mason, Emberlyn Blosser, Millie Blosser, Braxton Mears, Xander Mason and Jaiden Mason; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, 10:00am – 11:00am, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
