Kathryn “Kitty” Creekmore Skelton, who led a very active life for 94 years, went to be with her Lord on May 31, 2026, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Kathryn was born August 19, 1931 in Neshoba County, Mississippi. She met and was married to the love of her life, Ralph Elwin Skelton, for 66 years before his passing in 2015. After moving to Pascagoula, MS, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother. Ralph and Kathryn were long time 14 th Street Pascagoula residents, until Hurricane Katrina prompted their move to Gautier. In her later years, she was known to welcome you with a happy hello at Kathy’s Frame Works in Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Skelton, son Robert Skelton, daughter Kathy Skelton, great-great grandchild Hendrick Harris, her parents, and her siblings.
Kitty is survived by her sons Ronald (Desi) Skelton, Tony (Cindee) Skelton, Kevin (Jackie) Skelton, daughter-in-law, Sybol Skelton; grandchildren David (Angela) Skelton, Brian (Machelle)
Skelton, Phillip (Starla) Dees, Leigh (Rhonda) Dees, Jackie (Jimmie) Bleau, Katye (LJ) Henry, Laura (Britt) Penny, Jennifer Bosarge, and Denny Goynes, Jr.; 22 great-grandchildren, 19 great-
great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would like to give a special thank you and appreciation to her granddaughter Jackie Bleau for her loving care and assistance during the last few months of her life. They would also thank Singing River Hospice of Life for their guidance and care.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 4 th , 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 4811 Telephone Road, Pascagoula,
with burial at Machpelah Cemetery immediately following the services.
