Kimberly Kay Watson Rowell

Kimberly Kay Watson Rowell, age 56, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.  She was born November 10, 1967 in Pascagoula and graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1985.  Kimberly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse.   She was a nurse for Biloxi Regional Hospital during Hurricane Katrina and retired from Plaza Nursing Center in Pascagoula after over 20 years of compassionate nursing. 

Kimberly enjoyed boating, fishing, shopping, being active, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren that lovingly called her “Na Na”.  She will be remembered for her gentle and sweet spirit that she was to others all of her life.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Willie Mae Summerlin; paternal grandparents, John and Katherine Watson; brother, Stanley Craig Watson.

Kimberly in survived by her father, Glenn Watson of Orange Grove, MS; mother and step-Dad, Brenda and Stan Smith of Lucedale, MS; daughter, Keisha Rowell; grandson, Clayton McCullough; granddaughter, Shaylin Caudill all of Lucedale; brother, Merlin Christopher Wagner, of San Ynez, CA; step-brother, Robert Stanley Smith, Jr. (Allison); half-brother Chad Watson; half-sister Nika Watson; and other family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, 11:00-12:00noon at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel.  Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
