Kurt Olsen

Kurt Olsen, age 57, of Pascagoula passed away suddenly at his home on June 14, 2019.  He was born October 11, 1961 in Pascagoula to the late Charles L. Olsen and Doris Olsen. He retired in 2007 from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Logistic Engineer after over 25 years of employment. Kurt was a family man and loyal to his friends in so many ways. He enjoyed making others laugh and laughing, watching football games and supporting the New Orleans Saints, NASCAR, Great Smoky Mountains, and helping others. He had a unique way of making others feel special and appreciated and will be remembered for his kind heart.

Kurt is at peace and reunited with his daughter, Cynthia Nicole Olsen.  His family members that remain to cherish his memories is his wife of 38 years, Debra Olsen; daughter, Michelle Ann Olsen Watson (Paul, Jr.), son, Charlie Olsen; granddaughter, Bryonna Nacole Watson; sister, Dee Williamson (Donald), Rick Olsen (Melanie), Bobby Olsen (Anirah), and Darrah Olsen, all of Pascagoula; devoted long time friends, Kelly and James Mullis, Columbia, TN.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 6:00-8:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula where family and friends will enjoy a selection of music that Kurt enjoyed and share memories.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula.  You may send condolences to his family at www.obryantokeefe.com
