Lucian Dwight Noble age 72, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 17, 2025 after an extended illness.
Dwight was born on February 3, 1953 to Duncan Minor Noble Sr and Quinn Ilene Poyner Noble in Pascagoula, MS. He was a 1971 Pascagoula High School graduate and furthered his education at Harding University, receiving a BBA in accounting. He was a long-time member of the Gautier Church of Christ. Dwight worked in many capacities of accounting of over the years but some of his greatest adventures came from his summer jobs as a young man. He sold bibles door to door and ambulance service memberships, just to name a few. He was known for being a calm and peaceful person, so it was no surprise that he filed as conscientious objector based on his strong religious beliefs.
On August 2, 1997 Dwight married Mary Schaub, and for the past 28 years she was the sparkle in his eyes. This husband and brother will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents he is survived by his wife, Mary Noble and two brothers, Duncan Noble and Nathan Noble. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 24 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula at 12 Noon with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will conclude at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Noble, Terry Crow, Andrew Crow, Michael Crow, Francis “Bub” Schaub, and Kevin Schaub.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice of Light for their abundant care and compassion during his sickness.
