Lashunder Alisha Lamarshette Hye

Lashunder Alisha L. Hye known to family and friends as Pooh was born October 20,1988 and departed this world peacefully on February 22, 2020.

Pooh lived most of her life in Moss Point, Mississippi where she worked as a customer service rep in both the retail and restaurant industry. She shined her light upon everyone who knew her. Heaven has truly gained an amazing angel.

Lashunder is preceded in death by her son, Dewayne Decarlo Cortez Grace Jr.; grandfathers, David Lee Jones and Calvin Hye; great-grandmothers, Ergie T. Haynes and Bertha Hye and an aunt, Angela Toulouse; brother, Ramad Silas.

She is survived by her parents, Kim Haynes Hye Carter and Terry (Crystal )Hye; grandmothers, Bobbie Nell Jones, Flora Hye and Cathy (Bob) Fort; aunts, Melody Jones, Rolonda McCune, Yolonda (Will) Hall, Debra Hye, Jacklin Jones, and Christina Rogers; uncles, Zackery (Caley) Hye, Curtis (Claudette) Hye, Anthony Rogers, Anthony Clemens, and Earl King; sisters, Sherrie (Steve) Allen, Arkela (Hosea) Davis, and Annalee Stewart; brothers, David (Yannicka) Hye,  Terry (Christina) Hye Jr, Joseph Silas, and Jernorrus Silas; nieces, Sa’niya and A’ryiah Davis; nephews, Dawarren Williams, Xzavier, Deontrius and Camron Hye; along with many many cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, 11:00-12:00 noon at, O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Zachary Hye.  You may send condolences to her family on the Tribute Wall.
