Lisabeth Lou Davis, age 87, passed into rest on September 22, 2021 in Pascagoula, MS. She was born in Wayne County, MS to John Floyd Langley and Fannie Williams Langley on December 21, 1933.
Lisabeth was a faithful mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved to create, spending dedicated time gardening, quilting, sewing, and cooking. Lisabeth owned and managed many different drug stores, and owned a fabric store for many years, making dresses for others. She worked at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church helping where she could for many years. She enjoyed taking part in Mardi Gras activities, and was an avid fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Lisabeth lived in Pascagoula for over 56 years, touching the lives of all she crossed paths with.
Lisabeth is preceded in death by her parents, John Floyd Langley and Fannie Williams Langley; 2 brothers, Jack Langley, and Joe Langley; and husband, Clifford C. Davis Jr.
She is survived by sons, Clifford C. Davis III of La Quinta, CA, Joseph P. Davis (LeAnn) of Gulfport, MS, Christopher A. Davis (Sandra) of Biloxi, MS; daughter, Elizabeth L. Stauter (Claude) of Ocean Springs, MS; 2 sisters, Shirley West of Waynesboro, MS, Edith Herron of Grand Bay, AL; 8 grandchildren, and many other friends and family members.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
