Lois Richard Mullikin

Lois Ann Richard Mullikin, age 86, of Vancleave passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was born September 7, 1938 in Greenville, Mississippi.  She devoted her life to being a supportive wife to her husband that retired from the United States Air Force, loving mother to her children, and caring for her family.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Vancleave.  She enjoyed church activities, bowling, helping others, and family gatherings.

She is preceded by her husband of 67 years, Donald Robert Mullikin, US AF, Ret.; parents, Louis Joseph Richards and Eunice Cornelia Jones Richards; one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Mullikin; sister, Betty Griffin

 Lois is survived by her three sons and two daughters, Louis Mullikin (Kim), California; Lisa Peirce (Frank), Georgia; Daniel Mullikin (Michelle), Vancleave; Damon Mullikin, Vancleave; LeAnn Carver (Charles), Vancleave; sister, Lelia Mae Adkins, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, 1:00-2:00pm at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Vancleave. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm followed by burial at the church’s cemetery.  A reception will follow in the fellowship hall celebrating her life.  Memorial may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
