Mrs. Loretta Marie Blythe of Pascagoula died at the age of 91 on Sept. 25th 2024 at home with her family by her side. Marie was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. She attended Our Lady of Victories Catholic School graduating in 1951 as Class Valedictorian. She then met and married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Blythe and they had seven daughters. Marie was an avid bowler for many years and loved tennis. Marie worked as secretary and bookkeeper for Clark Seafood for 53 years retiring in 2019 at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert U. Delmas and Loretta Agnes Delmas, her husband of 42 years Robert (Bob) Blythe; daughter, Tracy Blythe Box; brothers, Bobby Delmas, Charles Delmas, and H.E. (Chee-Chee) Delmas.
Marie is survived by her six daughters, Linda Howard (Greg), Debra Blue, Donna Taylor, Gina Williams (Archie), Patricia Watson (Paul), and Bobbie Williamson (John); sister, Mary Frances (Millie) Troutman; sister-in-law, Jeri Delmas; 21 grandchildren, Kelley, Greg, Casey, Teri, Kristy, Leslie, Stephanie, JJ, Tasha, Travis, Cara, Luke, Christal, Callie, Brandy, Mandy, P.J., Brett, Courtney, Cassidy, and Dwayne; 48 great grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her 7 grandsons: Dwayne Vickers, Greg Howard Jr., P.J. Watson, JJ Crowley, Travis Taylor, Luke Williams, and Brett Watson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Howard, Archie Williams, Paul Watson, John Williamson, Doug Horn, and Philip Horn.
Visitation and services will be Sunday, September 29th at O’Bryant – O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Public visitation is from 1pm -2pm with services to follow in the Chapel. Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery, Pascagoula.
