Lori Ann Kemp

Lori Ann Kemp passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in Ocean Springs, MS.

Lori was born in Michigan to Charles and Royetta Rice on November 29, 1966. She worked as a Cafeteria Administrator for 20 plus years for the Pascagoula School District at College Park Elementary in Gautier. She enjoyed life, watching humming birds/ flower garden but most of all she enjoyed being a mother and grandma. She took the grand in grandma to a higher level.  Her legacy will continue to live through the many memories she made.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Rice Sr. and survived by her husband of 40 years, Wiley Kemp Jr.; her mother, Royetta Miller Rice; a daughter Shelby Kemp; siblings, Charles “Chuck “Rice Jr and his wife Patricia, Robin Margraves and Lisa Rice; grandchildren, Quinn Derosia and Salem Pardue.

She left us way too soon.  We are thankful we had her through the holidays, celebrating the special family times. Forever in our hearts.
