Lynn Balius Patrick

Lynn Balius Patrick, age 61, of Ocean Springs passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 in Mobile, Alabama after a brief illness.   She was born February 28, 1962 in Pascagoula and was a longtime resident of the Jackson County.

She was a former employee of Jerry Lees and former secretary for Dr. Rubenstein in Ocean Springs.  She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. 

Lynn was a very talented lady with talents and abilities to play the piano, seamstress, artist including murals on walls, and cake decorator for special events for family and friends.  She was a long -time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lester Balius; her fur-baby dog that passed away recently, Zoey.

 She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Billy Patrick, Ocean Springs; mother, Earline Balius, Gautier; son, Daniel Patrick, Gautier; step-son, William “Willie” Patrick, Vancleave; three sisters, Linda Kadlec (John), Vancleave; Sharon Bechtel (Simon), Pam Balius, Gautier; one grandson, Griffin Lain Patrick; numerous other family members, loving church family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 2023, 10:00-11:00am, at Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier.  Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Walt Barbee officiating and Committal will follow next to the church at Ladnier Cemetery.
