Lynne Marie Lohmeier

Lynne Marie Lohmeier, age 76, of Gautier passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2026.  She was born January 18, 1950 to Earl and Louise Lohmeier in Ohio.  Lynne received her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Mississippi State University.

Lynne was an instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gautier from 1989 until her retirement in 2012. She had a passion for helping her students and will be remembered for her dedication to education.

Lynne had a gentle and kind spirt with a deep love for dogs that brought joy and companionship throughout her life. She was currently writing a book and she desire to share a story with the world.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ren Lohoefener; brother, Todd Lohmeier; other relatives and friends.
