Glenn was born in on December 31, 1938 in Pascagoula, MS to Joseph and Sudie Barlow. At the age of 8, playing with a dynamite cap, it exploded causing the loss of his fingers, but that did not limit his goals. While at a church camp, a young and beautiful, Barbara Thompson caught his attention and the rest is history. They married on June 1, 1963 and together they remained until her death in 2022. Together they raised two sons, Joe and Jeff.
Glenn was a Patriarch in the Community of Christ Church. After attending Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, he graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1962 and University of Mississippi Law School in 1965. Judge Glenn Barlow served in Pascagoula, Mississippi, as a Chancery Court Judge for the 11th Circuit District. He oversaw civil cases and was known for his commitment to fair and impartial justice. This icon, who served his family and community with integrity and honesty will be greatly missed.
