Mark Shane Guillotte, age 49 of Gautier passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family and close friends at his home. He was born September 11, 1973 in Pascagoula and has been a lifelong resident of Gautier. Mark graduated in 1991 from Pascagoula High School and was employed with Jackson Ave Auto Sales in Pascagoula for over 25 years. He and his sons proudly established Guillotte Lawn Car and in his last years became a part owner and grounds superintendent of Hickory Hills Country Club in Gautier. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends. He was dearly adored and loved by all who met him. There is no love like Mark Guillotte loved.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hattie Guillotte and Hurley Guillotte; maternal grandparents, Judy Borries and Leonard (Chubbie)Borries: father-in-law, Joe Anderson.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Anderson Guillotte; two sons, Hunter and Austin Guillotte; two grandchildren, Sayor Guillotte and Axtyn Clark; father, Hurley Ray Guillotte, mother, Linda Malone Shaddix (Don); brother, Troy Alan Guillotte (Amanda);mother-in- law, Emily Haggard (Bruce); brothers-in-law, Tim Anderson, Ken Anderson, and Rick Anderson; special aunts, uncles, cousins, and the most supportive long time friends and family members.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, 3:00-5:30pm at First Baptist Church in Gautier. Funeral Service will begin at 6:00pm at the church.
The Guillotte Family is requesting cards, letters or stories you would like to share with them about how Mark made an impact in your life. These Letters can be brought to the service and placed in a "Special Treasure Box" for the family to treasure for many days to come. For those not able to attend, you may share your story on the Tribute wall of this website to be added to the special box for the family.
