Mary Hepburn

Mary Hepburn, age 80, of Gautier passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  She was born February 12, 1942 in St. Louis, MO and has been a resident of Gautier since 1977. She was former telephone operator for St. Luke Hospital and Normandy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was a former telephone operator and emergency room clerk at Singing River Hospital.  Mary worked for Dickie Scruggs Law Office, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Jim Robinson Car Dealership. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier and enjoyed county line dancing, country music, watching her grandchildren playing sports, gardening, and the internet.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Virginia Hepburn; sister, Kathleen Hepburn.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mitzi Feo (Rick), St. Martin and Billie Orwig, Ocean Springs; sister, Vivian Adams, Omaha, FL; foster daughter, Shelly Edwards (Dave), Florida; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, and one niece.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2022, 2:00-4:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier, MS.   Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.   You may send condolences to her family or share a memory of her on the Tribute Wall.
