Mary Elaine Mauffray

Mary Elaine Mauffray, age 91, of Pascagoula passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.  She was born November 30, 1932 to Norbert Eddie Mauffray and Hazel Grace Bennett Mauffray.  Elaine was a Telephone Operator for AT&T for over 37 years.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula.  Elaine will be remembered for her ability to grow flowers and passion for them.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Cuevas; brother, Preston Mauffray.

She is survived by her loving sister, Elizabeth Brister, Pascagoula; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024, 10:30-11:00am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am with Father Paddy Mocklear officiating. Graveside service will follow at Bayou CoCo Cemetery, Kiln, MS.  Pallbearers will be Tim Brister, Sr, Tim Brister, Jr., John Lockard, Jonathan Lockard, Blake Scarberry and Terry Necaise.
