Mary June Blanchard

Mary June Blanchard, age 101, of Pascagoula passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025.  She was born June 27, 1923 in Lafayette, LA and has been a longtime resident of this area. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula and devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. 

She in preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis Blanchard; parents, Taylor Oncale and Mary Oncale; sister, Patricia Falterman; brother, George Oncale.

June is survived by her daughter and three sons, Sharon Brown, (Claude), Pascagoula; Wayne Blanchard (Teenya), Fort Worth, TX; Douglas Blanchard (Linda), Hinesville, GA; Gregory Blanchard (Becky), Pascagoula; brother, Taylor Oncale (Beulah), Arlington, VA; 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Scott, Yvonne, Jeff, Holly, Robin, Zachary, Lacey and Jackson; 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, 12:00-1:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, MS.
