Melton Robert Dunnam

Melton Robert Dunnam passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the age of 73.

Melton was born on October 17, 1952 in Pascagoula, MS. At the age of 19 he began working for the City of Pascagoula and continued for the next 40 years.  He was a bit of an eccentric, loving, antiquing, yard sales, old cars, motorcycles, and trips down the river with his kids. He enjoyed Cruisin the Coast and described as a little country and a lot of rock and roll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melton Rudolph Dunnam and Essie Mae Dunnam Woods; siblings, Mary Love, Bruce Dunnam and Lonnie Dunnam.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Dunnam; children, Stephanie Maggard and her husband Bobby and Shaun Dunnam; siblings, Randy Dunnam, Jimmy Dean Dunnam, Leonard Dunnam and Janet Dunnam Williamson; grandchildren, Brady Maggard, Madison, Blayne, Presley and Michelle Dunnam; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Visitation Memorial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at O’Bryant -O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 6-7 pm. Private interment will be held at a later date at Jackson County Memorial Park.
