Michael R. Beasley, age 74, passed away on February 5, 2026. He was born on April 17, 1951.
Michael was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was defined by service, hard work, music, and family.
He is survived by his two sons: Jonathan Beasley and his wife Kaylee Beasley, and their children Ava, Alli, and Dallas Beasley; and Jeromie Beasley, and his children Athan Beasley and Seah Beasley, with their mother Kimberly Beasley.
He is also survived by his brothers Steven Chambers and David Chambers, and his sisters Charlotte Curry and Gloria Williams.
Michael proudly served in the United States military for eight years as a company clerk and fitness instructor, where he was known for his discipline, dedication, and encouragement of others.
A lifelong musician, Michael was a singer and songwriter who loved his guitar and cherished singing with his family. Music was one of the ways he connected most deeply with those he loved. He had a deep love for the outdoors and made countless memories camping on lakes and rivers, teaching his children and grandchildren how to hunt, fish, and waterski. These moments—quiet mornings, shared laughter, and lessons passed down—were among his greatest joys. In the 1990s, Michael became an ironworker, a trade he took great pride in. He helped build the Atlanta skyline, hanging iron on some of the city’s tallest skyscrapers. His work quite literally shaped the horizon—strong, lasting, and visible to all.
Michael R. Beasley leaves behind a legacy of strength, creativity, service, and love. He will be remembered for his music, his stories, his steady guidance, and the way he showed up for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Graveside with military honors will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 2:30 PM.
