Michael Glenn Harbison

Michael Glenn Harbison, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was born October 24, 1956 in Pascagoula and has been a longtime resident of this area.  He graduated in 1974 from Pascagoula High School.  He married the love of his life on December 5, 1987 and was a loving and supportive husband to Cheryle especially during her illness with Pick’s Dementia.

Glenn was a former Sheetmetal Craftsman at Ingalls Shipbuilding, Halter Marine and other shipbuilding industries.  He retired from Pascagoula Terminix after being a technician for over 15 years.

He was of the Assembly of God faith and enjoyed working with church activities and traveling with family. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Cheryle Harbison; parents, Dan Coy Harbison, Sr and Geneva Harbison; three brothers, Ricky Harbison, Dan Harbison, Jr. and Charles “Chuck” Harbison; one sister,  Luann Graybill (Woody)

Glenn is survived by his two brothers and three sisters, Don Harbison (Gracie), Pascagoula; Lee Harbison (Tonya), Lucedale; Jeanne Thomas (Hal), Tylertown, MS; Susan Ros (Mike), Prattville, AL; Kay Truitt (Hal), Columbus, MS; sister-in-law, Sandy Lindsey, Sumrall, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2025, 1:00-2:00pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Harbison. Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Pallbearers are Doc Harbison, Jared Cole, Marc Bachman, Melvin Davis, Chase Harbison, and Logan Harbison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Harbison, Hal Thomas, Greg Harbison, Mike Ros, and Hal Truitt.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bethel Baptist Church 16641 Prine Rd. Citronelle, Al. 36522  In honor of Glenn’s three nephews: Jeff Harbison, Joseph Glenn (Doc) Harbison and Richard Harbison Associate Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church.
