Michele McDonald Hamilton

Michele McDonald Hamilton, age 59, of Pascagoula, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 17, 2026.  She was born April 8, 1966 in Ballston Spa, New York and has been a longtime resident of this area.  Michele graduated from Ocean Springs High School and was a customer service employee for many Gas Stations.

She was a member of Collective Church in Pascagoula for over 10 years. She deeply enjoyed and treasured quality moments with her family, especially her grandchildren. She found joy in playing video games and sharing laughter with those she loved. A loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.

Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Arthur McDonald and Susan Marie Coryer; two sisters, Lisa Fizgerald and Valerie Frias Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, James Timothy Hamilton; two sons, James Michael Hamilton (Kayla), and Jonathan Hamilton; two sisters, Kim Mauldin (Bunky); eight grandchildren, Abbi, Belle, Liam, Cheyanne, Coby, Logan, Katrina, and DJ; three nieces, Ashley Loper (Joseph), Clarissa Holloway, and Nicole Brown (Weston); two nephews, James K. Smith and Brandon McDonald (Morgan); longtime friends, other relatives and loving church family.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2026, 9:00-11:00pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Holley officiating.

Memorials may be given in her memory to Collective Church in Pascagoula.
