Mikka Jason Gene Strickland, age 21, of Pascagoula passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born March 30, 2003 in Pascagoula, MS. Mikka graduated in 2021 from East Central High School in Hurley and was a former inventory specialist for Regis.
He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church in Pascagoula and enjoyed reading the bible and listening to gospel music. Mikka loved all music and boxing. He was the person most concerned about his family and friends and always loving and caring for those in need. He would share a smile to help others to be able to smile and wanted to be the person to others that made a difference in this world.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Francis Howell Harvey and Frankie Miller Harvey.
Mikka is survived by his parents, Trisha Kenneson Callahan and Joseph Callahan; sister and brother, Mary Jayne Kenneson and Jaxon Callahan; maternal grandmother, Alice Harvey Kenneson, Gautier; maternal grandfather, Timothy Gene Kenneson; paternal grandmother, Venus Callahan, Pascagoula; Aunt, Lisa Marie Rivera Lopez, Jacksonville, FL; special cousins, Marianna and Christian Rivera Lopez; numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, August 1, 2024, 6:00pm, at Arlington Baptist Church in Pascagoula. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
