Noah Criddle Obituary

Noah Ellis Criddle passed of natural causes in Starkville, MS, on July 9th, 2024 at the age of 24 years.

Noah was born in Pascagoula, MS on January 24th, 2000. From the time he was tiny, he had a unique ability to make his own fun from anything. His family loved to joke that you could give him two sticks and leaf and he would play for hours. As he got older, this extended to picking flowers in the outfield during baseball games, spending hours building LEGO sets, keeping up with his favorite content creators on YouTube, and replaying the same video games yearly (beating LEGO Indiana Jones seven times over with the help of his sister, Maggie). Noah’s laugh was infectious and when he loved something, he loved it deeply. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of movie and TV trivia, and he loved bringing his friends and family into the loop on his newest favorite music.

During his middle and high school years, Noah spent most of his free time practicing and playing on the school soccer and tennis teams. Noah graduated third in his class from Resurrection Catholic School in 2018 and started school at Mississippi State University that fall. He took a circuitous route through school and ended up as a communications major, intending to go into TV broadcast and production. He took a small detour during COVID lockdowns and started a baking Instagram (@bigitalianbakes) where he would show off his homemade baked creations. He loved his job with the SEC Network and he loved Mississippi State Sports.

Noah was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buddy and Vivian Criddle; his paternal aunt and uncle Laura McCool and Ellis Criddle; and his maternal aunt Nicole Curet.

He is survived by his parents, David and Renee Criddle; his sisters, Cecilia, Maggie, and Eva Criddle; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Carol Curet; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Resurrection Catholic High School soccer and tennis teams.
