Nona V Whittington

Nona Davis Whittington passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama at the age of 87.

Nona was born on May 10, 1934 in Mississippi City, MS to John Davis and Juanita Davis Hart. She was of the Methodist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Edward Whittington; a sister, Callie Fairley; brother, James Terry Hart; step father, Wesley Hart; and a sister-in-law, Carol Hart.

 Left to mourn her loss, is a son, Edward L. Stewart (Buddy); brother, Alton Hart; nieces, Lara Day, Susan Swanson, and Debrah Gulledge; nephews, Terry Wayne and Eric Daniel Hart.

A visitation will be held, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10am with Rev. Ron Hill officiating. Interment will conclude at New Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Stone County at 12:30pm.
