Norman Andrew Bosarge, age 93, of Moss Point, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born September 6, 1931 in Pascagoula and has been a life long resident of this area. Norman graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1951 and married Linda Faye Bosarge on March 6, 1959.
Growing up, he worked in his family business named “Bosarge Oyster”. He purchased his own boat “The Nancy Darnell” and continued as a commercial fisherman until he retired. He supported his family and taught all of his children a hard work ethic. Quality family time was very important to him and he enjoyed taking family and friends to the local islands.
Norman was an active member of Pascagoula Elks Lodge # 1120 and was an avid Saints Football fan. He was a member of Safe Harbor Methodist Church in Moss Point, MS.
Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Bosarge, two sisters, Frances William and Ida Rose Yocum; brother, Clyde Bosarge.
Survived by his three daughters and one son, Gaye Clark (Dave), Moss Point; Judy Bosarge, Moss Point; Paul Bosarge (Cheri), Moss Point; Suzy Rouse (Kris), Amory; brother, Gary Bosarge (Donna), Moss Point; grandchildren, Sabrina Chandler (Stephen), Tracy Clark, Daniel Clark, Allie Roberts, Ethan Williams, Alana Williams, Luke Williams (Caroline), Brianna Bosarge, Bailey Bosarge, Wyatt Bosarge, Matt Zettler (Amber), Makaylea Zettler, Ryan Rouse and Melissa Rouse; great grandchildren, Caden, Bay, and Brooke Morie, Clark Chandler, Brantley Cox, Brooks Williams, Ella Williams, Eli Zettler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 10:00-11:30pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Elks ceremony will be conducted will be held at 11:30am in the funeral home parlor and Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home chapel at noon. with his son-in-law, Rev. Kris Rouse officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula. Pallbearers will be his son and grandsons.
