Patricia Ann Standridge

Patricia Ann Carney Standridge passed away   on Friday March 6, 2026  at the age of 79.

Patrica was born in Talahina, OK to Alton and Lizzie Carney.  Of Choctaw Indian descent, Patricia was proud of her heritage and enjoyed living life. She was a lab assistant at Singing River Hospital for 18 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading, yardwork, being outside and enjoying nature. Her children and grands were the joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Standridge; daughter, Corey Elzey; siblings, John L. Carney, Helen Marie Brannon, and Katherine Louise Seyler.

She is survived by her children, Carol Wilson (Tommy), Sherise Randall and a daughter Tara Cossey who has been missing since 1979, but Patricia never lost hope that she was still alive. Survivors also include her sisters, Doris Fay Box, Mary Lou Ellenburg and Isabelle Carney; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

To honor her request there will be no public services. We encourage you to remember her as you enjoy the outdoors and being with family. Those are things that were important to her until the end.
