Pat Nichols, age 58, of Vancleave passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at her home. She was born Feb. 20, 1960 in Pascagoula and has been a life long resident of Jackson County. She attended Moss Point High School and had a great passion for the outdoors. She loved fishing, boating, and loved living on the river with her husband and dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Frank M. Nichols, III of Vancleave; two daughters, Jillian Rae Lynn (Jeremy), Ocean Springs; Kecia Marie Nichols, St. Martin; six step- daughters and one step son, Lucretia Buzbee, Mobile; Gigi Havard (Justin), Lucedale; Knoia Dye, Wyoming, (Buford of Wiggins); Stephanie Ann Hogue (Bryant), Moss Point; Holly Briana Tanner, Denver, CO; Kami Sheree Carter (Michael), Arkansas; Timothy Colton Tanner, Pascagoula; three grandchildren, Mia Rhaye Nichols, Andrew Lynn, and Juliana Lynn; ten step grandchildren, Sierra A. Papenfuss, Mason Havard, Gauge Havard, Gunner Dye, LaKota Erkhart, Ethan Dye, Desirae Dye, Emily Houge, Christian Tanner, and Lucy Carter; step-great grandchildren, Tristen and Logan Erkhart; lifelong friends, Ken and Debbie Steiner.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, 1:00-3:00pm, at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter.
