Paula Therrien

Paula Jean Ayers Therrien, age 68, of Gautier passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home. She was born February 22, 1953 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to James Lamar Ayers and Betty Hollingsworth Ayers.  She graduated from Ethel High School and was a former legal secretary and librarian. She was of the Baptist faith and playing the organ for her church.

Paula was a talented musician with the ability to play the piano, organ, keyboard, and as well as a professional singer. She had a former social media website named “Bayou Gourmet” and enjoyed cooking.

She is preceded in death by her young sister, Vicky Lynn Ayers.

Paula is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clyde David Therrien; special cousin, Lisa Luke; other relatives and friends.

There will not be a public memorial service held but you may send memorials in her memory to Hospice of Light, 1121 Ocean Springs Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
