Pauline "Polly" Larsen Grubbs

Pauline “Polly” Annette Grubbs, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in her home in Moss Point, Mississippi.

Polly was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi January 6, 1946, to Ernest Harold Larsen Sr. and Pauline Annette Bosarge Larsen. She attended Our Lady of Victories Catholic Schools and was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. Polly was a former employee of Palace Pharmacy in Downtown Pascagoula in the early 1960’s. She was a loving mother who cared for children in her home for over 10 years. Polly worked at Milne School for girls in New Orleans close to 10 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles F. Grubbs, Jr.; and brother, Frank “Corky” Larsen.

She is survived by her son, Hal Grubbs of Escatawpa; three grandchildren, Maghan, Kristen, and C.J. Grubbs; four sisters, Beverly Larsen Fuss, Ellen Larsen Pusey (A.J.), Betty Larsen Talley (Charles), Gaye Larsen Easter (Frank); three brothers, Ernie Larsen (Cae), Kenny Larsen (Carolyn), and Ricci Larsen (Dee); numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 5, 2021, 11:00am at Our Lady of Victories Catholic in Pascagoula. Friends may visit from 9:00-11:00am at the church prior to Mass. Private family burial will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in her memory to O.L.V. Catholic Church.

Due to safety concerns, face masks and social distancing will be necessary.
