Randolph “Randy” Moye, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Ocean Springs Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born December 16, 1948 in Orange, Texas as the 3rd child of 11 to Bradley and Patricia Moye. He was a graduate of 1968 from Pascagoula High School. After graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Army and proudly served from 1969 until 1971.
In 2015, he retired as a Build Strategist from Halter Marine after 50 years of faithful employment. Randy was an active member of First Baptist Church in Gautier and a member of Young at Heart Sunday School class.
He loved antique cars and could often be found admiring their craftmanship and history. A devoted football fan, he proudly supported Alabama Football and New Orleans Saints. He took great pride in his yard which he kept maintained and always welcoming. Most of all, he cherished time with family and loved hosting family reunions at his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Rodney Moye, Nicky Moye, and Tommy Moye; beloved step-son, Greg Fitzhugh.
Randy is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Blanche Moye; two sons, Rex Moye and Rusty Moye; two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Reese Moye; three step-daughters, Pamela Kimrey, Michelle Corbitt, and Teresa Majors; five brothers, Steve Moye, Tim Moye, Patrick Moye, Joseph Moye, and Frank Moye; two sisters, Joanie Moye and Millie Williams; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and faithful friends, and loving church family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 12:30-2:00pm, at First Baptist Church Gautier. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm with Rev. James Wilson and Dr. Chad Ball officiating with Rev. Connor Dunlap providing the music. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Gautier behind the church. Active pallbearers will be Scott Davis, Patrick Schmitz, Doug Stringfellow, Reese Moye, Rocky Rawls, and John Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Freeland, Bob Pantin, Jimmy Lassitor, and Fred Ros.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Randy to First Baptist Church Gautier, P.O. Box 37, Gautier, Mississippi, 39553.
