Raymond Emile Kraft Sr.

RAYMOND E KRAFT SR. 

 Raymond Kraft, of Gautier, MS, passed away peacefully in his home on April 18, 2025.  He was born in St Paul, Minnesota December 19, 1930, to Martin and Sophia Kraft.

In addition to his parents, and stepmother Wilma, he was preceded in death by brothers Clarence Kraft, Louis Kraft and Dick Boswell. 

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Janice Kay, and his children Janice (Paul) Bradshaw, Michele Irvin, Serena (Keith) Wright, Raymond Kraft Jr, and Kurt Kraft; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. 

He served in the US Navy, while stationed in Japan.  His 31-year career in the oil industry included over 6 years in Trinidad and 13 years in Australia. He retired at the age of 59, settling in Gautier, MS. He was an avid collector, enjoyed living on the river and loved working in his yard. 

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior.

Entombment will conclude at  Jackson County Memorial Park.
