Rebecca Anne Scott

On Tuesday August 31, 2021, a young and vibrant mother, Rebecca Anne Scott passed away unexpectedly.

Becca as most called her was born on October 25, 1991 in Pascagoula, MS to Raymond and Chery Scott. She was a 2010 graduate of Pascagoula High School.  She loved, experiencing nature, traveling, soccer, and motherhood. She had a huge heart and loved 100%.  She was accepting and non -judgmental toward all people, regardless of their station in life.  She idolized her siblings. If Becca had a flaw, it was the “Scott Curse” she loved freely and abundantly, until you crossed the line. Even then that line was very long. She and Pat traveled for three years meeting friends, far and wide.

 Never had she been any happier or content as the past year. From the moment she realized she was going to be a mother, she and Pat began planning for the future with their son, Rivers.  In three short months he captivated their world and upcoming marriage.  Never in their wildest dreams was this part of those plans. It is unfathomable how we can face the future without her in our life.  But, we will. Rivers will know how she was as a child, a teenager and how incredibly proud she was to be his mom.

She is survived by her fiancé and soul mate, Patrick White and son Rivers White; parents, Raymond Scott (Dana) and Chery Scott all of Pascagoula, MS ; siblings, Neil Scott (Katarina) Ocean Springs, MS , Nikki Scott of Pascagoula, MS and Chelsey Fiedler (Jeremy) of Mobile , AL ;  niece, Ansley Sisk; nephew, Mac Fiedler, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial visitation honoring Rebecca’s life will be held Monday September, 6, 2021 from 2-4 pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. We invite you to share a memory online so they can be preserved for Rivers.
