Bob, born December 12, 1937, to his proud parents, Ben and Ezabelle Smith, embarked on his final journey on September 1st, 2023 at the age of 85. He leaves behind a legacy marked by his dedication to family, service to his country, and a passion for the arts.

Bob's life was a journey through love and commitment. He was married three times, each union a unique chapter in his story. Through these marriages, he formed deep connections and shared precious moments with his loved ones. His enduring spirit will be remembered and cherished by those who had the privilege of sharing their lives with him.

He was blessed with two beloved sons, Dameon and Andrew Smith, who were the pride and joy of his life. His love and guidance helped shape them into the remarkable individuals they became. His legacy lives on through his sons, in the values and lessons he imparted to them.

A significant part of Bob's life was dedicated to serving his country. He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1960 to 1966, embodying the principles of honor, courage, and commitment. His dedication to duty was a reflection of his unwavering patriotism and love for his homeland.

Academically inclined, Bob pursued his passion for the arts and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. His artistic talents shone brightly through his work, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of witnessing his creations.

In his later years, Bob found love and companionship with his wife, Toni Valverde-Smith, and they shared a deep bond that brought him great happiness. Their journey together was marked by love, understanding, and shared dreams.

Bob's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his wife, Toni Valverde-Smith; his son Andrew Smith; stepson Brian Bowman; his grandchildren Carter and Alyssa Bowman. Their lives were enriched by his presence, and his memory will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

As we come together to remember Robert "Bob" G. Smith, let us celebrate the love he shared, the service he rendered, and the beauty he created. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, and his spirit will forever resonate in our hearts.

Bob's departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his spirit will forever shine in our memories. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished moments they shared with him.
