Rolland Eugene “Gene” Hysell Jr. passed away on August 16, 2019 at the age of 52.

Gene was born on October 8, 1966 to Rolland Hysell Sr and Carolyn Hysell in Pascagoula, MS. He served In the Marine Corp and was a graduate of Pascagoula High School. He loved all things outdoors especially the water. Fishing, hunting, cars and boats all these made up his world.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rolland E. Hysell Sr. and is survived by his mother, Carolyn Hamilton (Benjamin); step-mother, Reta Hysell; siblings, Chris Guillotte (Gina) , Jennifer Pry (Kevin), and Julie Blake (Jay); aunts Marlene Lopez (Bobby Joe) and Macy Mack (Charlie); four nephews, Avrey, Kelson and Jaxon Guillotte, Logan Conley; two nieces, Meagan and Abby Pry

Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the Liver Transplant Organization in New Orleans, LA. Condolences may be expressed at www.obryantokeefe.com.
