Ronnie B. Harper, age 65, of Pascagoula passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. He was born October 1, 1953 in Pascagoula and has been a lifelong resident. Ronnie was a proud 3rd generation house mover. He loved being a Dad and Pops to his children and grandchildren. Ronnie always made everyone smile and he enjoyed karaoke, spending time with friends and family, and his best friend, Gizmo.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Harper; maternal grandparents, Rev. John and Edna Rogers; paternal grandparents, TL and Ella Harper; step daughter, Amber East; brother-in-law, Craig Hobbs.
Ronnie is survived by his two daughters and one son, Megan Dier (Joey), Rodney “R.B.” Harper, Haleigh Harper, all of Pascagoula; father, RB Harper (Louise), Gautier; three sisters and one brother, Lanelle Goins (Ron), Ken Harper, Theodore, AL; Linda Wilson (Craig), Tuscaloosa, AL; Tuwanna Hobbs, Grand Bay, AL; his former wife and love of his life, Missy Harper Maggard; three grandchildren, Brooklynn Maddox, Brody Dier, and Beckham Dier; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, 10:00 -12 noon, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. You may send condolences to his family or share a memory at www.obryantokeefe.com
