Ronnie O’Neal Wall Sr of Moss Point, MS passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Ronnie was born the only child to Emmanuel and Cecil Wall in Laurel , MS on November 3, 1950. Ronnie met Darlene Thomas and it didn’t take long for him to know she was the one. They married in June of 1969 and for the next almost 56 years she remained the one. He served our area in law enforcement working with Gautier Police Department and Retiring from the Jackson County Sherriff’s Department.
Ronnie was a humble man who enjoyed the simpler things in life, fishing, nature, building boats, painting cars , and playing his guitar and singing. You cannot mention his love for the simple things without mentioning his love for old tv shows, classic westerns and The Price is Right. This kind and gentle giant will be missed greatly. His greatest joy came from watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and seeing life through their eyes.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Baylee Elizabeth Wall. He is survived by his wife Darlene Wall of Moss Point; children Timothy Ray Wall (Emilee) of Pascagoula, Ronnie O’Neal Wall Jr and Angela Darlene Wall both of Moss Point; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday February 15, 2025 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 10:30 am -12noon. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at noon with Rev. Jerry Knight and Rev. John Turner officiating.
