Shane Colbert Bingham passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the age of 65.
Shane was born on May 11, 1960 in Lucedale, MS. Shane was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and an employee for thirty-three years with the Pascagoula School District. In addition, he worked at Good Will, St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store and Americas Thrift Store. His optimistic motto for life was “I had a good day today”, even if the day wasn’t so good. However, his greatest day ever, has now been experienced, reunited with loved ones and in the presence of the Lord.
He as preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bingham Sr. and Claudia Heffernan and stepfather John Heffernan; his brothers Nash Bingham and Joe Bingham Jr; and special friend, Billy Jack Cribbs.
He is survived by a sister, Donnie Sue Ladner of Ocean Springs, MS; special friend, Dorothy Morris of Gautier, MS; caregivers, Ross and Michelle Eubanks of Lucedale, MS and sister-in -law, Rudy Bingham of Dallas, TX.
Donations in his memory can be made to Parkway Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2025 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 10-11 am with service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to conclude at Magnolia Cemetery in Lucedale, MS.
