Sherry Massey Locke

Sherry Massey Locke passed away on Sunday August 27, 2023 after a brief illness.

Sherry was born in Belmont, North Carolina on April 30, 1968. Her beautiful smile and enticing personality caught the eye of John B Locke and on   September 12, 1996 they were married and began a life of adventure.  In 2007 John’s work brought them to the Mississippi Gulf Coast specifically, Gautier.  She loved entertaining and having fun, believing that that life was too short not to enjoy it to the fullest. Family and friends merged together as a single unit. So many memories were made around the picnic table, where they gathered often.  Her love for life and insight to enjoy each day became reality when without warning her life was taken. Sickness that came on suddenly and eleven days later she left us. She left us with many treasured memories. Your place at the table will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Frank Moffitt and is survived by her husband John B Locke III of Gautier, MS; her mother, Sandra Moffitt of Clover, SC; two children, Jonathan Logan Locke of Georgia and Sandra Redmon (Sebastian) of York , South Carolina; siblings, Markus Moffitt of Clover, South Carolina and Teresa Price of Rockhill, South Carolina; three grandchildren , Kayden, Lucas and Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

We will gather at the Picnic Table at 12 noon for  a Celebration of Life.
