Sheryl Darlene Lee passed away at her home on Tuesday April 21, 2026 at the age of 82.
Sheryl was born on July 13, 1943 in Meridian, MS to Aubrey and Alpha Pulliam. She married Julian Stone Lee and together they had two children, Donnell and Tammy. Sheryl owned and operated Guys and Gals Salon and was a hairdresser along the coast for over 50 years. It was her gift to others to make them feel beautiful and form lasting friendships. She enjoyed painting, flowers and her pets. She was a long-time member of Gautier First Baptist Church where she gave of her time and resources to various ministries.
Sheryl’s life was marked with adversity but also victories. We celebrate her life and the strong yet gentle woman she was, and the many lives she influenced along the journey
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Julian in 2014; a daughter, Tammy Hudson and a grandson Jared Hudson aka Big Hud.
She is survived by her son, Donnell Lee and his wife Melanie of Gautier, MS; grandchildren, Ethan Hudson and Tiara Dahl; niece and nephews, James T. Lee Jr., Tommy Lee, Terrie Lee Butler, Tim Lee and Leisa Havis; numerous friends and of course her treasured JOY Sunday School Class.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 25, 2026 at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior. Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest by her husband.
