Stanley Barron

Stanley Howard Barron, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Moss Point, MS on December 3, 2020.

Stan was a dedicated employee of Ingalls Shipbuilding for 45 years, where he spent the majority of his career in the Planning/Scheduling Department. 

He as was ferocious reader, skilled poker player, motorcycle enthusiast and a true dog lover.

Stan is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Elaine Barron. He is survived by his parents, Howard & Virginia Barron of Moss Point, MS; his daughter, Amber (Johnny) Mansholt of Ocean Springs, MS; his son, Ryan (Sunny) Barron of South Korea; his brother, Mike (Norrie) Barron of Grand Bay, AL;  his brother Ron Barron of Moss Point, MS and three granddaughters, Ruby Mansholt, Olivia & Sofia Barron; five nephews, one niece and many friends.

Due to Covid-19 the funeral service will be conducted at the gravesite at Serene Memorial Gardens, 12800 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS on Thursday, December 10th at 1:00pm.  Social distancing and masks are required.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by O’Bryant O’Keefe Funeral Home, 4811 Telephone Road, Pascagoula, MS.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 4400 Audubon Lane, Gautier, MS  39553.
