Stanley Horton Obituary

Stanley Earl Horton passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the age of 75.

Stanley was born in Grenada, MS to Edd and Catherine Horton on April 7, 1946. He was a 1965 graduate of Pascagoula High School. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for a while, owned and operated a tree servicing company for many years and was currently employed at Horn Island Grill in Gautier. His blessing and curse, was his generosity. He gave of himself freely but often he was taken advantage of. Although he knew this, he still felt it was better to give than receive and loved doing for others.

His parents preceded him in death and he is survived by a sister, Fredia Scott (J.W.); brother, Lamar Horton (Lynn); daughter, Terri Tubbs; a granddaughter, Brandi and a great-grandson.

There will be no public services held for Mr. Horton.
