Steve Westphal

Steve Westphal passed away at his home on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Bruce Stephen Westphal was born on October 10, 1950 in Pascagoula, MS. to Arsene and Shirley Westphal. He worked for many years in the oil and gas industry as a drafter.  He moved to Vancleave, MS.  10 years ago and loved being on his 13 acres, just enjoying life and nature and taking in a stray animal or two along the way. Steve was an all-American guy. He was extremely patriotic, loved his family, old cars, dogs, guns, renaissance fairs and the bible. To his family he was caring, spontaneous, and a jokester.  He loved large family gatherings with food, fireworks and games. If his family was in need, he was always quick to help and always, always ready for fun.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arsene Westphal and a son, Eric Westphal.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Westphal of Moss Point, MS.; two children, Jason Westphal and wife Christine of River Ridge, LA. and Connie Sperandeo and her husband, Christopher of Luling, LA.; siblings, Daniel Westphal (Carolyn), Michael Westphal (Denise), Karen Westphal, Becky Butler (Terry), and Tami Do; grandchildren: Henry and Jane Westphal, Allie and Isabella Sperandeo, and Jesse Westphal.

There will not be a public service for Mr. Westphal at this time.
